Organicational Innovation

 “Organisational learning is not the same thing as individual learning …..…  There are too many cases in which organisations know less than their members. There are even cases in which the organisation cannot seem to learn what every member knows.”  (Argyris & Schon 1978: 9)
    Action learning sets out to foster cultures of enquiry and experiment.  From this perspective it is normal for able and intelligent people to reflect on what they are doing, and the questioning of working practices and processes is a sign of health and fitness.  Questioning tends to produce energy:  to get things done, to develop new ideas, and to seek new knowledge:
